ALEXIS '

                     LITERACY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I have always been a person anxious to learn something new and perfect the skill. Reading and writing have always been the two skills that continue to intrigue me and challenge my perfection.

My earliest memory of trying to write was when I was about two in a half years old. My Mother bought me chalk, a chalk board, crayons and construction paper. I was really excited and couldn't wait to use my new tools. I wanted to lay on my stomach and write like I always saw my big sister doing after school. I used my crayons and started what I thought was writing in cursive; really it was just a lot of scribbles and spirals.
