Frivolous Lawsuits and Today's Society

Have you ever been sued before? A large percentage of Americans have. Unfortunately many lawsuits today can be termed as frivolous or ridiculous. We’ve all heard about Stella Liebeck and how she sued McDonalds when she spilled a cup of their coffee on herself and was burned because they didn’t have a warning that the coffee would be hot. Frivolous lawsuits like this one have become common in our country today. Now billions of dollars are spent every by companies defending themselves from similar lawsuits. Even children's movies are starting to reflect the frivolous lawsuit craze, as in Pixar's The Incredibles. This site was constructed by three college students in an effort to inform people that frivolous lawsuits have indeed become a problem in today’s society as well as to inform people as to how they can help stop this problem.
