Novak- Born in Saline, Michigan, Kevin is currently a freshman at Xavier
University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He became interested in science fiction at a
young age, reading his father's old copies of the magazine Analog:
Science Fiction & Science Fact. He is in the University Scholars
program, and is currently majoring in Physics and Mathematics, and plans on
a career in space engineering. His favorite books include Dune by
Frank Herbert, as well as the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. Other
favorites include the Back to the Future movie trilogy, country music,
football, and barbecue.
Nicholas Losekamp-Nicholas was born in Harrison, Ohio a small town
30 minutes west of Cincinnati, Ohio. Nick as he is called by his
friends, is also a student at Xavier University. Nick grew up reading
all different kinds of books but fell in love with the science fiction and
fantasy genres. He especially liked the Choose Your own Adventure
books pertaining to science fiction. Nick was also interested in
astronomy from a young age. He is a member of the Philosophy,
Politics, and the Public (PPP) program at Xavier. Nick plans on a
career as a politician and one day hopes to be president of the United
States. His favorite books include Dune, and its prequels
written by Frank Herbert's son, The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.
Tolkien, and the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. His favorite
movies are the Star Wars Trilogy, the Matrix trilogy, and the Lord of the
Rings trilogy. His hobbies include: Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and
Dragons, beating his friends at computer games like Warcraft III, and
reading.
