Keeler in French

Updated August 1, 2012

French speakers were not a major market for Keeler; the Belgian volume shown here is among the most obscure of his publications, and even its publisher is virtually unknown.

L'étrange émeraude (Anvers [Antwerp]: Editions l'Étoile Verte, no date): This cover features a still of Spencer Tracy with a small, inset illustration copied from the 1935 Dutch volume De zeldzame smaragd. Both Dutch and French titles mean "the strange emerald"; the English title is Thieves' Nights. The translator of this volume is F. Ranusy.
