Full Inclusion |
||
| This website was created by
Lauren Edwards and Alyssa Sullivan for Dr. Fisanick's Rhetoric class at
Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio (www.fisanick.com/rhetoric.html). We are both education majors and will
have to work with inclusion in the future. Because of this, we decided to
make a website which examines a controversial issue in the field of
education, full inclusion. In recent years, there has been a push in the Special Education field towards full inclusion, where every student, disabled and typically developing, is placed in a regular education classroom. Although inclusion is an important aspect of special education, and one which should be maintained, full inclusion is not right for everyone, and the policy should not be adopted. This website attempts to explain full inclusion and show that although the movement has its benefits, they are far outweighed by its drawbacks. This website provides information, as well as graphics to go along with the information. By clicking on the graphics, a hyperlink will direct you to the site from which they came. |
